This caramelized cabbage with onions and garlic is an easy recipe and a healthy side dish you can serve with any meal.

Ingredients: – yellow onion – garlic cloves – cabbage – olive oil – Kosher salt  – chili flakes  – black pepper

Prep the vegetables by slicing the cabbage, onion and chopping the garlic.

Add the olive oil to a large pan. Add the sliced onions and cook for a few minutes. Add the chopped garlic.

Add the sliced cabbage and cook, stirring occasionally for about 15 minutes until golden brown and caramelized. Serve and enjoy!
