From October 23 to October 25, the 2015 Food Blogger Canada Conference was held right here, in my city, Montréal. There is so much I want to share with you, but where to begin? What to write? I am going to take a leap (which was this year’s theme), a deep breath, and just start typing. Hopefully, I’ll be able to convey what I experienced at this conference, what I learned from the inspirational speakers and, on a more personal level, my thought process as I took it all in.
Would you believe that September 25th marks the first blogging anniversary of She Loves Biscotti? My, oh my, how time flies! I would like to share with you my thoughts as I approach my first year of blogging and my vision for the future of this blog – a blog which is, by the way, such a privilege for me to share with all of you. Thank-you for sticking with me for a year!
A few weeks ago, I received an invitation from a woman named Jessica (by e-mail) to participate in the launching of a new line of products, “Green Garden Dressings” manufactured by Litehouse Foods. We were to meet at Restaurant l’Orignal (in Old Montreal) where we would have the opportunity to taste these salad dressings. The dressings are olive oil based, with natural ingredients, organic, gluten-free and non-GMO (you know Genetically Modified Organisms). It sounded too good to be true.
You will soon be able to find she loves biscotti on Yummly, a website that helps you organize all your favorite recipes!
You may have noticed that I have installed the Yum button to my blog. If you click that button while on a particular recipe’s page, that recipe will be favorite-ed, or “yummed”. I am in the process of becoming a publisher on yummly.
Feel free to use the Yum button to save recipes to your personal recipe box.
Thanks for dropping by.
Ciao for now!
The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.
