Nut mixture ingredients: - almonds  - brown sugar - cinnamon  - allspice - apples

Cake batter ingredients: - flour - baking powder - salt - eggs - sugar  - vegetable oil - applesauce - vanilla extract

In one bowl, sift the dry ingredients together. In another bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients. Combine.

Grate and chop the apples. Combine with the nut mixture. Combine half with the batter.

Press part of the apple-nut mixture, evenly over the bottom of your greased and floured bundt pan. Fill with cake batter and bake until golden brown.
