Dry Ingredients: – quick oats   (toasted) – almond flour – brown sugar – coconut flakes – cinnamon – nutmeg – cardamon – chocolate chips

Mix all the dry ingredients except the dark chocolate chips in a large mixing bowl. Set aside for now.

Wet Ingredients: – dates – water – lemon juice – maple syrup – applesauce – almond butter – coconut oil – vanilla extract

Combine the dates, water, and lemon juice in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Then slowly simmer. Once you obtain a date paste, add the rest of the wet ingredients.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix well with a wooden spoon until everything is evenly combined. Mix in the chocolate chips.

Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking pan. Press down firmly to flatten evenly and bake.
