The addition of cornmeal in this Orange Cornmeal Cake provides just a hint of texture to a simple dessert. This easy cake recipe requires only 10 minutes of prep time.

Ingredients: – Flour  – Yellow cornmeal – Baking powder – Salt – Eggs – Sugar – Olive oil  – Orange zest and     juice

Sift or whisk together flour, cornmeal, baking powder, and salt in a medium mixing bowl. Set aside.

Whisk together the eggs with the sugar in a large bowl. To this, add the oil, orange zest and juice. Whisk to combine properly together.

Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and combine. Transfer the batter to the prepared pan and bake.

Transfer the cake to a rack where it can cool down for about 15 minutes before removing from the pan. Cool completely before garnishing. Enjoy!
