Instructions
Preheat oven to 425℉(220℃). Place the oven rack in the middle. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cut broccoli into florets, if florets are large, cut in half.
Cut the stem into thin sticks or rounds, depending on your preference. Transfer to a colander.
Transfer the florets and the stems to a colander and rinse. Pat dry.
Transfer both the stem and the florets to the rimmed baking sheet as well as the garlic.
Drizzle with the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper.
Toss together properly to evenly coat the broccoli and garlic.
Spread the broccoli in a single layer on the sheet pan.
Roast in a preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the ends begin to brown.
Remove the broccoli from the oven and immediately drizzle with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice (If using, can sprinkle grated cheese over the tops).
Serve immediately.
