Honey Cocoa Biscotti with Almonds

This Italian cocoa biscotti recipe combines the warmth of honey, the richness of cocoa, and the nutty crunch of almonds. The perfect addition to your holiday cookie platter.

Ingredients: – All-purpose flour – Cocoa powder – Baking    powder/soda – Salt – Cinnamon – Eggs – Vanilla extract – Lemon zest – Almonds – Honey

In a large mixing bowl, whisk the dry ingredients together. Add the almonds, honey and liquids. Combine until you get a stiff dough.

Shape mixture into 2 logs. Bake for approximately 30-35 minutes or until firm to the touch.

Remove from oven and allow to cool down. Transfer to cutting board. Using a serrated knife, slice cookies about ½ inch thick. Bake for about another 5-10 minutes and enjoy!
