Here’s an easy recipe on how to caramelize onions without adding any sugar. Caramelized onions are great as a topping for grilled chicken, pizza and so much more!

Ingredients: - yellow onions - olive oil - salt

Slice yellow onions ¼ inch thick.

Add olive oil to a large pan over medium heat. Add the onions and salt, and stir to coat the onions.

Cook the onions slowly for about 30 minutes to an hour, stirring occasionally, until they turn a deep golden brown color and become soft and sweet.

Once done, remove from heat and use them as a condiment or add them to your favorite dishes for a rich, sweet flavor. Enjoy!
