This easy Sweet Bread Recipe is mildly sweet with a light and fluffy texture. The addition of buttermilk adds a hint of tanginess to this yeast bread.

Ingredients: -flour -sugar -yeast -water -buttermilk -egg -oil -extracts -lemon zest

Whisk together the buttermilk, egg, oil, extracts and the lemon zest. Set aside.

Whisk together the flour and sugar. Form a well.

Add the liquid mixture to the well and combine. Add the yeast.

Knead together to form a ball of dough. Cover bowl. Allow to rise until double in size.

Roll out dough until you get a 16x12-inch rectangle. Cut the dough into strips.

Pinch the top ends of 3 strips of dough together. Then start braiding the dough.
