You won't believe how easy it is to make Homemade Ricotta Cheese. All you need are three simple ingredients: milk, lemon juice and salt.
In a large saucepan, over medium heat, heat 8 cups of whole milk.
Heat to 185°F (85°C).
Add ½ teaspoon of salt.
Only use freshly squeezed lemon juice or vinegar.
Add 3 tablespoons of lemon juice or vinegar.
Slowly stir the mixture for 2 minutes.
Cover pot and let stand for about 20 minutes.
Congratulations! You have just made Ricotta Cheese!
